Holly's is coming to Bibi Klamer

New brand arriving to www.bibiklamer.com

Holly's is nostalgic Danish design.
Holly was born in 2002 and has grown steadily ever since.

The four-leaf clover is an icon from the seventies which they have give new life, new colours and new design.

Holly's started as baby wear with baby grows and underwear for babies, now it also includes styles for junior and mum.

New designs and accessories arises from Holly's fantasy every season. The fantasy is fuelled by continuous travel, because Holly loves to travel and is often off on adventures. On her way Holly meets new people and impressions - all experiences which inspire Holly's world.

We will off course add the collection to our website the minute it arrives.
I am sure you will love their new collection as much as we do...

Summer Holiday...

My kids (two, age 9 and 5) break up on Friday 17th of July and as most parents I am slightly dreading it....
Our plan is to take our old beloved VW camper and tour around the country (haven't quite decided if we are going to the Lakes, Wales or Somerset..) but I must say in reality 7 weeks is a long time for me and my other half to sleep in our small 1 1/2 man bed, squashed up against a cold window, while listening to his snoring and worrying about the rain coming in....BUT the kids love it.....

2 years ago (same year the dog had a bad tummy and decided to do his dirty in the middle of the camper while zooming up the motorway) we was driving round Wales and it was lovely until engine broke down and we had to get towed back to Yorkshire, kids still talking about it!..

Last year we nearly made it to Somerset when the fan belt went but we had to keep going as we were going up a hill with a massive lorry behind us.
When we pulled over the engine was knacked and totally dead!
We rang the AA and me and kids put the kettle on and did some drawing while hubby went off searching for some lunch...
We got towed to Somerset (closer than Yorkshire..) where we have some very good Friends we could stay with.
We now had to try and get the camper fixed and head back up to Yorkshire...(As far as I recall it was also a bank holiday week end so not much chance of finding a garage with a new engine..)
Our friend suggested we call the local garage to see if they could help and you never guess what!!!
One of the lads there had a VW beetle. He had bought a new engine for it but was not going to replace it yet but when he heard about our "problem" he offered to take the engine out of his beetle, sell it to us and fit it in our camper - on a bank holiday weekend! How lucky is that?

We left the old (broken) engine with our friend and posted it on Ebay, thinking that maybe some clever guy could strip it down and rebuild it....We sold it a week later....

We did make it back home but I must admit, while packing the camper today I do wonder how far we will make it this time.......

What a fantastic flower....

I saw this plant on the internet while looking for something sturdy that would survive on my windy balcony...
Its called 'Ruby Moon' Hyacinth Bean and its beautiful...
I ordered the seeds and got both my kids making newspaper plant pots. (They are free, fun to make, recycled and biodegradeable)
http://www.feesworld.com/how2make/paperpots/index.html
With some water and sunshine the plants started to grow and I got really exited as this is the first time I have grown anything from seed...
I have now moved the plants outside in big pots and they are doing really well.
I shall keep you informed of their progress and also add some pictures.. This truly is a plant that we should all know of....its fantastic...

Smafolk

The Danish children's clothes range from Smafolk is just fab.. We have been stocking the label for a few years now and the brand just gets better and better. The quality is fantastic and the clothes outlast the children and is being passed on to the next child. Our customers (adults and kids..)keep coming back when the new range hits the shelves. The adults says it washes brilliantly and the kids says it really soft - what could be more perfect?

We will be ordering the new collection soon and I am sure, as always, it will be brilliant..

Welcome to our first post.
Last week was the fashion tradefair in London and we got on our train early Sunday morning. The collections we were looking at was for next summer (yes it took me a while to get my head around that one..).
We arrived there and had the brilliant idea that we would fly through the fair and then hit the shops (having escaped my two kids, I was eager to have the day to myself.) Anyway such was not my luck. We spent far too long gaping over lovely children's clothes and did not leave the fair until all the shops had pretty much closed...arghhh.
After getting over our dissapontment we found a lovely Tapas bar and had a bite to eat before heading back to sunny Yorkshire.... such was our day out in London...
I must add though that we have got loads of lovely clothes coming from Smafolk, Molo, Minymo, Phister and Phelina, Cupcake and Littlehorn to mention a few.
We were also very exited about a french company who makes the most gorgeous fabric suitcases in loads of colours suitable for kids or adults.... Keep an eye on our website www.bibiklamer.com
for new products and make sure to sign up for the newletters and special discount dates.
